WHAT IS IT?
South Bend Ready2Fish Just Add Bait
WHAT SETS IT APART?
Building on its 20-year tradition of creating rod/reel and tackle combos, South Bend’s Ready2Fish line now includes several Just Add Bait models that include pre-spooled spinning or spincast outfits with a snap that links to any hook or lure a young/novice angler may choose. Eliminating the need for knots removes a common barrier for beginners and allows them to get right to the fun stuff. As knot skills increase, simply remove the clip to practice tying on tackle.
HOW DO I USE IT?
Each Ready2Fish combo includes a selection of basic tackle kit matched to a fish species or application. Filled with hooks, sinkers floats and other relevant items, kits are color coded for easy identification. Rods vary from 5-6 medium-light two-piece, to 7-foot medium-heavy two-piece, to 5-6 medium-light telescoping design, all with EVA grips. Tackle kits include a handy connection system that attaches to the rod. With the kit open, lay the rod into the central slot and snap the lid closed for a secure attachment.

ANGLER’S INSIGHT:
In addition to the Just Add Bait line, South Bend’s Ready2Fish family includes species-specific kits for bass, trout (ultralight and medium spinning), salmon and striper spinning and fly fishing. South Bend’s newest Ready2Fish rod features an inverted grip that provides a better feel by connecting the angler’s hand directly to the rod blank.
