Peak Trailering Was This 1974 VW Bug With Magic 360-degree Teardrop

Bringing an eye-popping 60 hp and a noodle-snapping 77 pound-feet of torque, the 1974 VW Beetle is not now, nor ever was, the first, second, third, or even 100th vehicle you’d think of when you think: towing.

But then, there’s this video.

Maybe this kind of 360-degree trailer exists in other forms, dunno, because we’ve never seen it elsewhere, but wow, what a brilliant setup. Minus the anemic but charming Beetle yanking the trailer around, of course.
