Around-the-World Paddler Erden Eruç Arrives in Guam on Way to Everest

We interviewed Erden Eruç back in June about his almost inconceivable plan to row across the Pacific, then make his way to Everest by bicycle to summit the peak. He recently arrived in Guam, after departing from Crescent City, California, just below the Oregon border, seven months ago. On approach to Guam, the US military put a hold to live fire exercises they had planned to ensure Eruç’s safety.

He’s recently set out from Guam, continuing west, the world’s highest peak in his sights.
