Beluga Cam’s On

Manitoba’s Churchill River Estuary is the summer digs for thousands of beluga whales. Each year they arrive, eat, mate, give birth, teach the kiddos a couple tricks, then light out before the ice returns. Now, via Explore.org, a couple live cams show you what they’re up to. Similar to the bear cams at Brooks Falls in Alaska, it’s meditative, comforting, and little like a digital vacation when you click over for 30 or so seconds to watch the whales be whales.
