“Hart’s Pass is accessible by car and is the highest point in the State of Washington that one can drive. The road was built in 1893 into gold and silver mines that once were home to over 1,000 permanent residents.” -USFS
Easy road and was not that busy. Located in the North Cascades, accessed from highway 20.
No snow on the road. If you’re near Mazama, WA. It’s worth the drive.
I parked at the top near Slate Peak and hiked the last little bit up to the fire lookout. The lookout is closed, but you’ll have 360 degree views even from the ground.
