A KNIFE TO MATCH YOUR 1911, ED BROWN HAS IT ALL
NEW from Ed Brown is their second addition to their knife lineup, this time a blade dedicated to serving the needs of first responders.
Known for their high-quality 1911 pistols and accessories, Ed Brown’s First Responder Knife looks to become the ideal tool for EDC that might save your life in more ways than one.
The 3.5” Bohler N680 Stainless Steel is a partially serrated sheepsfoot blade that is secured via ABLE lock for a smooth and easy deployment.
While the blade is what most of us might use, the First Responder knife also comes with a few special tools.
A thumb-deployed strap cutter blade and glass breaker could be useful to anyone in or at a major car accident. This knife also comes with an oxygen valve wrench for the first responders that might need one on hand.

The grip is G10 scales and features a lanyard hole plus a reversible deep pocket clip.
Sales and Marketing Director John May said, “We strive to meet the needs of our customers. Whether it be our handguns, parts and accessories, or our new knife line, we want to ensure our customers can come to Ed Brown for all of their needs, finding high quality and high performance products.”
At first glance, this looks like a pretty solid knife with some nice features. Surprisingly, it’s even priced well at an MSRP of $200. A good knife is a critical part of any EDC loadout, and a knife with some extra features like a strap cutter is always a good idea.
