Guide assignments are still very much a manual process in The Flybook. According to one Flybook customer, “Overall, the number of phone calls on the system frontend is not helping us like we had hoped it would.”

Flybook assigns trips to unqualified guides and doesn’t sync to a guide’s personal calendar.

Administrators must notify guides of their assigned trips. There’s even been instances where there was no guide to lead a scheduled trip.

In Origin’s adventure booking software, guides have personal accounts, update their schedules, and claim trips. Automatic guide assignments use your guide prioritization so you don’t have to assign and notify a guide manually.

The booking and schedule software works while you’re away from the computer. How it should.
