Giving Up Everything to Do Nothing

Dr. John Kitchin was, admittedly, starting from a position of financial strength most don’t enjoy when he abandoned the life of a high-paid neurologist to pursue, well, nothing. He ditched his practice, cashed in his 401k, and moved to the somehow both bustling and laid back Pacific Beach, a San Diego beach town. What the hell was the point of all that money and a prestigious career if you had no time for actual living? the good doctor wondered. Good question, indeed.
