Installed a Kickass battery box with a Chins 100ah LiFePO4 battery. : overlanding

Over the last couple of years it seems like power consumption/storage has been in uphill battle. We were using a 50ah battery bank and it would usually provide enough power to run my fridge and diesel heater for one night between charges. After running out of juice and losing power to my diesel heater on a cold night, I’d had enough!

This should be enough capacity to run multiple days between charging and when it comes time to charge, it can be done via dcdc or solar. The entire box can be removed easily to swap rigs or have portable power.

I haven’t had a chance to fully test it but we have a trip planned to do the White Rim Trail in a couple of weeks so that should give me plenty of feedback.
