Kings and Queens of Corbet’s — Athlete Roster

Kings and Queens of Corbet’s is one of the rowdiest events in freeride skiing. Here’s a full list of the competitors taking on the infamous Corbet’s Couloir in this year’s competition.


Max was born in the heart of the Tetons in Jackson, Wyoming, where his home cultivated a deep understanding for skiing and the mountains. In his early career, he was a competitive ski racer where he competed in the NCAA Division I circuit. Once graduated, Max returned home to push himself further in big mountain skiing. His racing career shaped his style on the mountain into what he would classify as smooth, fast, and calculated.

Notable Fact: First landed ski double backflip into Corbet’s 2020 

Jake grew up on the East Coast where ice was most familiar, but as he learned, powder skiing is way more fun. He now calls Bozeman, Montana, home and skis full-time in the backcountry, where he chases storms and shoots film segments. This year is the Sweet Protection and Line Skis athlete’s third Kings & Queens of Corbet’s event. 

Notable Fact: 2020 King of Corbet’s 

Parkin is a born-and-raised adrenaline junkie based out of Big Sky, Montana. He’s been skiing in the backcountry since he was a grom, learning from his dad beginning at just eight years old. Together, they filmed segments that subsequently won events like the Teton Gravity Research GROM Comp and Quiksilver YGSKI. Parkin’s career blossomed after he was crowned the 2020 King of Corbet’s and has now become a regular in TGR films. 

Notable Fact: 2018 and 2021 King of Corbet’s 

Karl is a backcountry skier and snowmobiler, born and raised in Sun Valley, Idaho. Known affectionately as “Crazy” Karl, he is known for pushing the sport and trying to expand on what he or anyone else had ever done. Beyond skiing, he also owns a production company called Native Earth Productions, and been featured in movies from MSP Films, Teton Gravity Research, among others. Watch his latest flick, “Brapski Vol. 1” right here.

Born in Bethel, Maine, Blake grew up skiing at Sunday River Resort. His love of skiing led him to compete in mogul skiing and slopestyle for ten years. When he stopped competing, he found an affinity for big mountain terrain after seeing its potential in Utah. Blake won the 2019 Level 1 SuperUnknown contest and was able to ski among legends in ski films from Level 1, TGR, and Faction Skis, among others. He currently calls Salt Lake City, UT home.

Sander is an Idaho born-and-bred skier known for big sends and a lack of fear that caught the attention of the ski world. He gained notoriety from his ski resorts’ POV edit, “The Way I See It,” which got him an invite to film “Days of My Youth” with Matchstick Productions. 

Corey was born and raised in Jackson, Wyoming. He is a proud Jackson Hole Freeride alumni. He was previously the Olympic coach of an Irish skier for the 2018 Olympic Games in Halfpipe and is now he is the production manager for Teatonic Kombucha. 

Tim is a local Jackson Hole and Teton Gravity Research athlete from Anchorage, Alaska. Growing up in AK, Tim discovered the freedom of the mountains and the ability to make a terrain park out of natural features. He has worked with film companies like Warren Miller, Teton Gravity Research and Field Productions and competed in the Linecatcher, Swatch Skier Cup and Cold Rush. As an athlete for TGR, he travels the world to find snow in exotic locations. 

Molly is a freeskier living in South Lake Tahoe, California. She grew up ski racing and currently competes on the Freeride World Qualifier circuit. In addition to competing, Molly can be found seeking adventure in the backcountry, climbing high peaks in the Sierra, and having fun in the mountains. Molly also works as a climate activist in South Lake Tahoe. The blend of her passion for skiing, the outdoors, and her love for the planet is what drives her to explore the mountains.

Piper is a 21-year-old skier originally from South Park, Colorado. She moved to Salt Lake City, UT in 2018 to attend college at the University of Utah. She typically skis at Alta where she’s pushed harder in her career than ever before. The next big step for her career is competing in the fifth-annual Kings & Queens of Corbet’s event in Jackson Hole.
