I recently bought a Dodge Dakota and plan to build it into my overlanding/ off-roading vehicle. Sorry, took the pics in the winter. I will add some more pics soon.
I started by undercoating the vehicle, had a well-needed tune-up, and am getting ready to spray in a Raptor Bedliner. I looked at the pricing to have a bed liner done for me and it is like 6 times what I could do for myself. So, I am going to bite the bullet and do it myself. I figure that the truck is old enough that if I mess up it really doesn’t matter. I mean, how hard can it be : ). If I had a new truck, then I would outsource it for sure.
My plan is to do a 5-day trip up north in NH. Camp 4 nights, hike a mountain ea day and travel to the next mountain. This kills two birds as I am trying to hike the 4000 footers in NH. And some of them are out of the way so I want to get those in one trip instead of over 4 weekends.
Also, it will help me learn more about what I need with me on future trips.
