Original plan was to cap off our 2 week road trip with an alpine lake hike to cool off in Nevada. Forecasts change quick. : overlanding

We took a 2600 mile trip last month going from UT>MT>ID>WA>OR>CA>OR>NV>UT. Original forecast for Nevada was hot, and so we planned an alpine lake hike that I’d been wanting to do forever to cap off the trip. Obviously we cancelled that plan, but we decided to drive up the mountain anyway to get some snowy views. This was on the way back down after getting below the blizzard that you can see still on the mountain tops.
