Spots for first time near in/near GA to overland : overlanding

Hey there! South Carolina here! The Georgia Traverse is super awesome (https://www.georgiaoverland.com/georgiatraverse.html)

It’s basically a bunch of forest service roads connected across north GA. We have done every mile of it several times. Lots to do along the trail, hiking, mountain biking, rivers, camping, etc.

I’d recommend starting there! There is a lot to do in north GA and western NC.

Start by downloading GAIA or OnX. Look at the trails on there. If you DM me your email I will send you GPX files to upload into GAIA with tons of trails mapped out in north GA, western NC and a little bit of north western South Carolina.

Hit the up guys at Peach State Overland, they’re out of GA and are some cool dudes to ride with. We got to do their Fall Color run with them last year and it was a blast, everyone is super cool too.

If you ever need a trial guide or someone to cruise some trails with, me and the GF are always looking for more overland / adventure friends!
