Oklahoma isn’t the first place you think of when it comes to overlanding. Much like our southern neighbors in Texas, we don’t have much public land. Luckily what we do have are several groups full of passionate individuals who host get togethers, trail runs, camping trips, and scout and connect some of the more interesting dirt roads into routes.
A group of us went out over the weekend and ran one of these routes and had a great time. We had 8 vehicles show up and several people who were new to our group. None of the route was very technical but the views were great and it was a fun way to spend some time with like minded folks.
