Testing a new portable “fold down” table. : overlanding

I was watching a youtube video of an awesome defender build that had a really cool fold down table mounted on the rear window. I, sadly, don’t have a defender and that table doesn’t really fit my Outlander 🙂 but I got inspired and made this in 15 minutes in my garage from some random stuff I had lying around.

What do you guys think? 🙂 It’s surprisingly sturdy and stable, good enough to cook or using a laptop on it… I want to replace the hooks for some plastic ones so I won’t scratch the paint. And if it turns out to be useful, I will replace a board for something nicer and more durable, like marine grade plywood.
