Currently planning out the layout for the back of a new canopy and wondering if anyone can share their experience with putting an upright fridge in their rigs compared to a traditional chest fridge?
Not really interested in particular brands or price, but more so the convenience, benefits/detriments to having an upright as I’m probably leaning in that direction.
Looks like it would be easier to get into and pick stuff out without stuff shifting around/having to pull other stuff out to get to the bottom etc.
Do you find stuff gets thrown around more inside? I don’t want the door swinging open in transit or stuff falling out when I open the door.
Fully expecting that the upright will draw more power, but are there any other big advantages to chests or even disadvantages to uprights that I might be overlooking?
Apologies if I should cross post this to r/fridgeenthusiasts or r/whitegoods
