Wild Camping at Makwa Platform in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe

Hi Overlanders. Hope this post is okay here. In this YouTube video (https://youtu.be/ZQZNpxZa9mM) we leave Bomani Tented Lodge and head up into Hwange National Park. We set up camp at Makwa Platform. It is a beautiful evening for filming wildlife and we capture fork-tailed drongos in slow motion flight and elephants at sunset. The ablutions are not working at the platform, but the sunset is so magical we don’t really mind. We are driving a Land Cruiser 76 Station Wagon pulling a Metalian Genie trailer with a Howling Moon trailer tent on top. In a later video in the series we go over our camping setup and discuss whether pulling a trailer is worth the hassle. Hope you enjoy.
